On the P&P General Configuration administration page, the Portal or Application Administrator has the option for end users to open documents created in Word within the Polices component in Word (default functionality) and/or open the policies as a PDF. This is especially useful in case a viewer of the policy does not have Microsoft Word or Word Viewer installed on their computer.
